Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Integrated Science (DI) 6-12 Endorsement or pursuing certification.
• Strong classroom management, organizational skills and commitment to growth.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver core science instruction aligned to each student’s current level.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction based on results.
• Communicate with parents and guardians on progress, behavior, and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to improve curriculum and classroom practice.
• Maintain accurate records, including grades, attendance, and IEP/504 documentation.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development activities.
