Job Overview

Teach Physical Science and Forensic Science. Responsible for planning lessons, delivering effective instruction, and evaluating student progress toward learning goals. Create a positive and productive classroom environment. Collaborate effectively within a Professional Learning Community. Participate in district and building professional development. Implement the high school science curriculum and engage students in learning. Communicate with parents about student progress. Support the high school building improvement plan.

Qualifications
  • Current Missouri Certification in Unified Science, Chemistry, or Biology for Grades 9-12 (Required)
  • Master's degree in Physics or Chemistry (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of End-of-Course Examinations, Missouri Learning Standards, and instructional strategies
  • Willingness to collaborate and support extracurricular activities
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
