Responsibilities

• Assess student learning with formative and summative methods and provide support.
• Maintain an organized, safe classroom and laboratory environment.
• Communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to foster collaboration.

Skills

• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design tailored for high school learners.
• Experience in teaching Honors and/or Advanced Placement Biology is preferred.
• Ability to design and facilitate inquiry-based laboratory investigations.
• Proficiency with learning technology tools and digital resources for effective teaching.
• Classroom management skills that promote discipline while fostering a supportive atmosphere for working with diverse student populations.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts and engage students of varying abilities.
