BASIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Science 9-12.
2. Create a classroom environment conducive to learning, appropriate to the maturity, interests, and abilities of students.
3. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals, establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects.
4. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media.
5. Assess students' accomplishments regularly, provide progress reports as required, and communicate with parents as deemed necessary.
6. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, District policy, and administration regulations.
7. Develop a classroom code of conduct consistent with the District's Discipline Code. Establish and enforce rules of classroom behavior fairly and justly.
8. Maintain good attendance.
