Job summary

Oregon City School District is seeking an Acting Coach for the 2026-27 season at Oregon City High School. The coach will guide student actors, provide blocking and performance feedback, and help prepare for regional competition. Responsibilities include coordinating with students and the drama/athletic staff while upholding district policies.

Must demonstrate high ethical standards and serve as a positive role model. This is a casual, non-benefited, hourly position with fingerprinting required.

Qualifications

• 1. Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and students.
• 2. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• 3. Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the activity involved.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting times with students to provide constructive blocking, musical, and emotional feedback.
• Help student actors prepare for the Regional Acting Competition.
