Connections Academy seeks an Intervention Specialist to provide vital support to at-risk students for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will analyze student data, implement interventions, and train teachers to foster student success in a remote environment. This role requires strong communication skills, relevant certifications, and the ability to work flexibly with diverse students.
School Summary
Florida Connections Academy (FCA) is a tuition-free, online public charter school serving students in grades K-12 statewide. FCA is authorized by Hillsborough County Public Schools and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia.
Position Summary and Responsibilities
Accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Working from your home office in Florida, the Intervention Specialist will provide assistance to students who are at risk of failing courses. Additionally, students who have failed courses will receive information from the Intervention Specialist about credit recovery opportunities. You will also be a point person and lead for our MTSS program and student intervention identification.
Important functions of the job include analyzing data, working with individual students or small groups, and training and supporting teachers through the intervention process.
