Job summary

North Haven High School is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute School Psychologist to support student academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being during an upcoming leave of absence. Responsibilities include evaluations, PPT/IEP leadership, counseling, and MTSS collaboration.

The role requires a Master’s or higher in School Psychology and an active CSDE School Psychologist endorsement, with preference for middle/high school experience. Position spans Mar 1, 2027 – June 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Active CSDE Certification Endorsement - 070 School Psychologist.
• Experience: Previous experience in middle or high school preferred, but proficient clinical/internship experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Administer, score, and interpret psychoeducational assessments for evaluations.
• Participate in PPT/IEP meetings and present results to parents and teams.
• Provide short-term individual and group counseling.
• Conduct FBAs and assist in BIP development.
• Collaborate with teachers and admins to implement MTSS/RTI.
