Job summary

Partnership 4 Kids seeks a High School Program Coordinator to plan and facilitate year-round programming, ensuring a secure environment and clear communication with students and families. The role includes curriculum support, outreach to schools, and coordinating volunteers to advance the organization’s mission.

The position requires experience with youth programs, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. Evening and weekend availability may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience in human service or education.
  • Minimum of one year’s experience working with at-risk youth in after-school or school-based environments.
  • Previous volunteer management, teaching or classroom experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Daily access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance; willing to drive for program activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and facilitates year-round programming to support the agency’s mission and goals.
  • Prepares lesson plan guidelines and handouts and notifies students, mentors, and school officials of meeting logistics.
  • Cultivates relationships with students, teachers, school administration, volunteers and corporate partners to support the program.
  • Provides case management to support academic goals, attendance, and access to community resources.
  • Provides guidance and communication to volunteers involved in year-round programming.
  • Maintains documentation of student and match-related information in agency databases; ensures safety policies.
  • May work evenings and weekends as needed.
