Henrico County Public Schools seeks a teacher to provide classroom and clinical instruction to high school students at the ACE Center at Hermitage and at clinical sites. The teacher should understand diverse student needs, maintain high expectations, and motivate students toward outcomes for successful living.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, developing industry-aligned curricula, and serving as an advisor for HOSA.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a valid teaching license in the relevant field or be eligible for a Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Technical Professional License.
• A minimum of two (2) years of full-time work experience within the past five (5) years as a plumber, HVAC technician, or in another closely related technical field; and
• Possession of a DPOR license as a plumber or another qualifying industry credential.

Responsabilités

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction to high school students at ACE Center at Hermitage and at clinical site locations as scheduled.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with industry standards to prepare students for careers in trade and industrial occupations.
• Serve as an advisor for HOSA (CTSO), developing leadership and career skills.
