Job summary

Boonville High School is seeking a Temporary Personal Finance Teacher for the second semester of the 2026-2027 school year. Licensure must be for Personal Finance (5-12) or in Math/Business with relevant experience.

Position involves curriculum development, lesson planning, and collaboration with staff to support student learning. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and using technology in teaching, with supervision of aides/volunteers and ongoing

Qualifications

Requires appropriate licensure for Personal Finance (5-12) in Math, Business, or related area with business, professional development, training, or work experience.
Will develop and implement curriculum plans and prepare lessons reflecting individual differences.
Uses instructional strategies and materials as per Indiana standards and district regulations.
Plans and supervises activities for teacher aides/volunteers and uses technology in teaching.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements curriculum plans for Personal Finance.
Prepares lessons reflecting individual differences and follows Indiana DOE guidelines.
Plans and uses instructional strategies, materials, and assessments.
Works with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
Supervises aides/volunteers and integrates technology into lessons.
Maintains communication with students and parents, and participates in staff development.
