Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of personal finance and financial literacy principles.
• Understanding of Indiana Academic Standards for Personal Finance.
• Knowledge of budgeting, taxes, credit, banking, insurance, and investing.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities; able to integrate technology into instruction.
• Ability to analyze student achievement data and adjust instruction accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons aligned to Indiana Personal Financial Responsibility standards and district curriculum.
• Teach budgeting, banking, credit, taxes, insurance, and investing concepts.
• Use instructional technology and digital resources to engage students.
• Assess student progress with formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
• Collaborate with counselors, administrators, and other teachers to support Graduation Pathways and college and career readiness initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
