Job summary

Paw Paw Public Schools in Paw Paw, MI, seeks a Part-Time Kitchen Aide to assist with daily meal preparation and service at Paw Paw High School.

You will work as part of a team, help prepare food in large quantities, maintain records, and ensure Health Department standards are met. The role runs during school hours on development days, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of Meal Magic (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and assist fellow co-workers in their duties
• Prepare and cook food in large quantities
• Maintain routine records related to food, service, and inventory
• Serve and clean up in kitchen and cafeteria
• Keep kitchen at Health Department regulation standards
• Properly check in food products and place them in appropriate storage areas in a timely manner
• Other duties assigned by the Food Service Director or his/her designee
