Job summary

Caesar Rodney High School is seeking Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year to support student achievement and well-being. Positions may include Instructional Paraprofessional or Additional Support Paraprofessional, and are full-time and temporary for the 2026-2027 year.

Applicants with an Instructional Paraeducator Permit are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment requirements include transcripts, resume, and letters of recommendation, plus background check and TB test.

Qualifications

• To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following: Hold a high school diploma or recognized equivalent AND meet testing requirements by either: Earning a qualifying score of 459 on the ParaPro Assessment (1755) (available through August 31, 2026), or Achieving scores of 332 on ParaPathways: Reading and Writing (5758) and 334 on ParaPathways: Mathematics (5759)
• Option 2: Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution, with a grade of "C" or better in each course
