Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work individually with students to support progress toward academic goals as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Facilitate and support small-group instruction and learning activities.
• Provide supervision of students in classrooms, hallways, lunchroom, recess, and other school settings.
• Assist students with tasks, assignments, and routines as needed.
• Support a safe, positive, and orderly learning environment.
• Communicate student needs and observations to the supervising teacher and/or building administration.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
• Other duties as assigned.
