Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates’ degree or ParaPro or equivalent certificate, or 48 hours college credits preferred.
• Professional development as required.
• Experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional staff with classroom management and organizing materials.
• Support individual and small groups in instructional and social settings.
• Assist individual children in personal care and daily living skills.
• General supervision of students inside and outside the building.
• Perform record keeping for assigned tasks.
• Monitor student work for groups and individuals.
• Perform clerical duties related to the school setting.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to transfer students within the building.
