Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3 years of paraprofessional or assistant teaching experience, familiarity with IEPs/504s, and a willingness to obtain NH Paraeducator Certification.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with students with IEPs/504 plans.
• Paraprofessional or Assistant Teaching experience: 3 years.
• Waldorf school teaching experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain NH Paraeducator Certification or CPR/First Aid if not held.

Responsibilities

• Support individual IEP/504-based learning plans as directed.
• Provide IEP academic support in grade-level high school classes.
• Lead tutoring sessions in math and English/language arts.
• Assist lead teachers with classroom management.
• Support students in quiet activities and executive functioning development.
• Transition students between classes and to dismissal.
• Participate in regular meetings with Special Education Teachers and Class Teachers.
