Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Massachusetts Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Certification.
• School nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Strong interpersonal relations with students, staff and parents.
• Experience working with children of all abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and Evaluate students' health status.
• Provide primary and emergency health care to students and staff.
• Administer medications per school policy.
• Coordinate health screenings and develop health care plans.
• Maintain health records for all students.
• Support school health education and staff collaboration.
