Job summary

Lexington Public Schools (MA) seeks a 0.6 FTE Floating Resource Nurse to support school health services across the district. The nurse reports to the Director of School Health Services and provides direct nursing care, health screenings, and policy support as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold MA nursing licensure, BSN, and DESE eligibility, with CPR certification and experience in diverse school settings.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing license (Current Massachusetts Registration in Nursing).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• DESE certification or eligible (Department of Secondary and Elementary Education).
• CPR certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services and school health support in all schools as assigned by the Director of School Health Services.
• Serve as a system-wide resource to all nurses and schools in the district.
• Facilitate in-service training for nurses, students, staff and families as needed.
