Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a dynamic high school music educator to teach general music, AP music theory, and music technology. You will develop lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with Orchestra, Chorus, Band and Drama departments to provide integrated experiences.

Required is a Bachelor’s in Music Education and valid Georgia teaching certification. Experience with high school students and strong organizational, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Ability to manage budgets and personnel in a performing arts environment.

Responsibilities

Plans instructional strategies and materials reflecting diverse learning styles.
Collaborates with other arts teachers to provide integrated experiences.
Conducts ongoing assessments of student achievement.
Maintains safe and conducive learning environment for students.
