Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music, theatre, music education, or a related field.
• Massachusetts license in Music or Theater (or eligibility).
• Experience teaching teenagers with strong classroom management and relationship skills.
• Comfort teaching both vocal and instrumental or theatre content.
• Commitment to equity and high expectations for every student.
• Urban or charter school experience, SEI endorsement, UDL/PBIS, or co‑teaching are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach clear, engaging, standards-based lessons for all learners including English Learners and students with disabilities
• Build a classroom culture rooted in Respect, Responsibility, Perseverance, and Excellence
• Direct school performances and concerts that bring families and the Lowell community together
• Shape the growth of a music and drama program
