University School of Nashville is seeking a high school Math teacher with experience and expertise in teaching different grade level courses. A full list of our math offerings is viewable in the course catalog on our website. This is a full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include teaching five sections of mathematics (likely sections of Geometry, AP Statistics, and Precalculus), participating collegially in meetings and initiatives of the mathematics department and of the high school faculty, and taking an active role in the life of the school community. Candidates will also have the opportunity to advise a group of 8-10 students.

University School of Nashville is an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational day school with enrollment of 1,068 students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Founded in 1915 as Peabody Demonstration School by George Peabody College for Teachers, it earned acclaim for its curriculum and faculty. In 1974, after Peabody College announced plans to close PDS, a group of parents, alumni, students, and teachers reconstituted and re-chartered the school as USN.
