Job summary

Tutor Partners, LLC is seeking experienced high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring at International Polytechnic High School in Pomona, CA.

Responsibilities include small-group and push-in support during the school day, tracking progress, and collaborating with teachers and administrators. Competitive pay: $20-$30 per hour; 8:30 am–12:30 pm, Monday–Friday, through the end of the 26-27 school year.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or minimum of 24 college credits; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Pass background clearances (e.g., LiveScan) as required by LACOE.
• Reliable transportation to assigned site.

Position Overview

Tutor Partners is seeking experienced qualified high school math tutors to provide in-person tutoring services in partnership with the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) at its specialized high schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct academic impact with students during the school day.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, starting now through the end of the 26-27 school year.

Pay Rate

$20-30 per hour

Qualifications

Associate's degree or minimum of 24 college credits required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience working with K-12 students

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to pass required background clearances (e.g., LiveScan/fingerprinting) as required by LACOE

Reliable transportation to assigned site
