Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional math tutoring while making it engaging and fun for students
• Assess students’ progress and collaborate with team members to enhance their learning experience
• Deliver personalized instruction in elementary, middle school, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Teach in-center, online, or via hybrid methods using the Mathnasium approach
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework

Qualifications

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong math competency through at least Algebra 2/Pre-Calculus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Willingness to learn, undergo training, and create a positive learning environment

Applicants must pass a math literacy test, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Training in the Mathnasium Method is required after hiring. Availability in the afternoons and evenings 3-5 days/week, including Saturday mornings, is necessary. Proximity to zip codes 77345, 77339, 77346, 77325, or 77365 is an advantage.
