Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home and online tutoring company serving the San Diego area. We are actively seeking a Math tutor (Integrated Math II and III) and Chemistry tutor to work with students in Encinitas and 4S Ranch.

Support is typically one to two hours per week per student and continues throughout the school year. Core responsibilities include providing academic support based on state curriculum, offering supplemental assignments to promote understanding, delivering a customized

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and CA teaching credential or actively pursuing one
• Two or more years of private or charter school classroom teaching experience
• Masters/PhD students or engineers welcome as subject-matter experts

Job Summary

Requirements

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria:

• You hold a valid California State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
• You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
• You have two or more years of experience as a private or charter school classroom teacher.
• You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College
• You are a Master's/PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at an accredited U.S. University or College
