Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• New York State Teacher certification in mathematics.
• Experience teaching Math grades 7-12.
• Experience with at-risk youth and/or youth with special education needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction as scheduled and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Prepare lesson plans based on NY State Standards and evaluate materials.
• Assess and record academic progress and maintain IEP/BSP for students.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in meetings (CSE, Department, teacher meetings).
• Manage classroom resources and support teacher aides as assigned.
