Job summary

Scottsdale USD 48 Arcadia High School is seeking a 2026-2027 Mathematics Teacher (Online & In-Person) to deliver high-quality virtual instruction and provide on-site supervision in the eLearning Lab. The role blends synchronous and asynchronous teaching with mentoring and academic support for 9–12 grade students.

The incumbent will plan lessons, monitor progress, and apply technology to enhance learning, while participating in department and school activities and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district and state.
• Single subject teaching credential or certification if teaching a specialized subject.
• State certification.
• Relevant teaching experience.
• Knowledge of relevant technology.
• SEI Endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Provide appropriate feedback on work
