Paradise Valley USD 69 is seeking a Math Teacher for North Canyon High School in Phoenix, Arizona. This 1.0 FTE, non-interim position starts on 09/08/2026, reporting to the Site Administrator, with duties enhancing the instructional program.

The successful candidate will administer assessments, communicate with families, differentiate instruction, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment in alignment with district goals.

Qualifications

• Arizona Teaching Certificate required.
• Appropriately Certified in Core Content Area.
• SEI Endorsement Required.
• Criminal Background Clearance.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Administers subject specific assessments and tests for the purpose of assessing the level of students' competencies.
• Advises parents and/or legal guardians of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations; student achievements; developing methods for improvement and/or reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment.
• Instructs students for the purpose of improving their success in academics through a defined course of study.
• Differentiates classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning within established lesson plans.
• Collaborates with instructional staff, other school personnel, parents and a variety of community resources for the purpose of improving the overall quality of student outcomes.
