Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Arizona State Teaching Certificate, or ability to obtain one.
• Valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best instructional practices.
• Ability to provide verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
• Ability to deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across disciplines such as Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, or Economics/Financial Literacy.
• Experience utilizing theNational Standards for Financial Literacy in lesson planning, instruction, and facilitation, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers engaging math and financial literacy lessons using district-adopted textbooks and curriculum guides.
• Uses various instructional and classroom management techniques to support diverse learners.
• Collects and analyzes student achievement data to inform ongoing instruction and progress.
• Adapts mathematics curriculum for individual, small group, and remedial instruction to meet needs of identified students or subgroups.
• Maintains a positive and safe learning environment and supports school goals and community involvement.
