Qualifications

• Arizona Department of Education State teaching Certification in Secondary education with certification in Mathematics
• IVP Clearance card
• Strong knowledge of high school-level math content and curriculum standards
• Experience teaching high school science preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and teach high school math classes to students in grades 9-12, providing a meaningful and engaging learning experience for all students
• Create a positive learning environment that supports students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and their families
• Incorporate technology and other resources into lesson plans to enhance student learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide curriculum initiatives and assessments
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of high school-level math content and curriculum standards
