Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-appropriate, subject-matter specific curriculum.
• Develops and implements lesson plans for in-person and virtual learning.
• Communicates with students, families, and district personnel by phone, email, or video.
• Creates a conducive learning environment accommodating physical, social, and emotional development.
• Uses internet and web-based tools to deliver instruction and collaboration.
• Assesses and documents student progress, attendance, and performance.
• Supervises student behavior per conduct codes and handbook.
• Participates in parent/teacher conferences and collaborates with staff.
• Directs work of paraprofessionals or instructional aides as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree (Georgia PSC approved)
