Job summary

Uncommon High School Math teachers collaborate in grade and content teams to push students toward self-guided learning, becoming experts in mathematics and motivated to persist through challenging problems. You will foster a love of math through varied instructional strategies and student-centered practices.

As part of a dedicated urban charter network, you’ll differentiate instruction, build relationships, and engage families to support student success and college readiness across grades.

Responsibilities

• Teach content using a Math curriculum including Algebra, Geometry, or Calculus and prep AP coursework.
• Support students as they solve problems and think critically.
• Differentiate instruction for all learners in the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with students to ensure they feel seen, loved, and heard.
• Partner with families to support students’ learning needs.
• Analyze student work samples and assessments with leadership to drive improvement.
