Job summary

Glide High School in Glide, Oregon is seeking a dynamic Math Teacher to join our district. Applicants must obtain Oregon TSPC licensure with appropriate endorsement; teaching four-day school week; full-time 1.0 FTE for 170 days.

The successful candidate will teach Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and other math courses, maintain professional standards, collaborate with staff, participate in in-service days as required, and support student growth in a high school setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon teacher’s license with appropriate subject area endorsement and grade level authorization.
• Understanding of human growth and development patterns, learning theory and brain research.
• Content knowledge in subject areas taught.
• Familiarity with age-appropriate instructional, assessment and classroom management strategies reflecting current research.
