The Valley View Public School District is seeking a full-time Math teacher for the 2025/2026 school year.

Job Summary

The teacher will be responsible to the Building Principal for planning instructional lessons tailored to student needs, creating a conducive classroom environment, and employing effective teaching techniques.

Qualifications

• Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator License with endorsement in Mathematics
• Successful 9-12 teaching experience (preferred)
• Skill in diagnosing, assessing, and record keeping of student learning
• Knowledge of current teaching techniques
• Ability to structure a classroom to maximize learning
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders
• Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities as sponsor, supervisor, or coach
