Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a High School Math Teacher to deliver one-on-one, in-person instruction at Augustine Hills School in Wilmington, Delaware. This part-time, flexible role is designed for educators who prefer a focused, individualized approach.

You will develop tailored lessons, document weekly progress, and collaborate with parents and school staff. A minimum of 3 years of high school math teaching, plus a degree in Education or Mathematics and teaching

Competenze

• 3 years of high school mathematics classroom teaching experience (excluding student teaching or tutoring).
• Experience creating lesson plans, documenting student progress, and recording grades weekly.
• Ability to adapt lesson plans based on student engagement and skill level; experience with diverse learners.

Position Overview

We are seeking a High School Math Teacher to deliver one-on-one, in-person instruction at Augustine Hills School in Wilmington, Delaware. This role is ideal for educators looking for a part-time, flexible schedule and the opportunity to work one-on-one with students.

You’ll receive a “skeleton” curriculum to guide you, but enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to adapt instruction to each student's unique learning needs and interests. Our goal is to make math engaging, relatable, and fun.

Provide personalized, in-person, one-on-one instruction in high school-level math subject(s).

Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.

Create an engaging classroom experience that brings math concepts into real-life contexts.

Maintain accurate documentation of lessons, student progress, and grades on a weekly basis.

Collaborate with parents, educators, and administrators as needed.

Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of high school mathematics classroom teaching experience in any math subject (excluding student teaching or tutoring).

Experience creating lesson plans, documenting student progress, and assigning and recording grades on a weekly basis.

• Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement and skill level
• Experience a must in working with students with learning differences
• Reliable transportation required; must be able to consistently report onsite to Wilmington, DE location for scheduled work hours.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Education or Mathematics.

Experience teaching multiple math subjects to high school students.

Teaching certification.
