Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc.'s Avance is seeking a High School Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide instruction aligned to AZ standards, differentiate for diverse learners, and contribute to college-ready outcomes in a nonprofit charter high school.

This full-time role offers a $2,000 signing bonus and a benefits package. You will collaborate with colleagues, develop assessments, and engage families to support student achievement in a caring, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in education or content area
• Arizona Teaching certification required
• Comprehensive knowledge of the AZ Standards
• Must possess a valid Class 1 or Class 2 Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in planning for academic improvement
• Willingness to teach multiple grades and subject levels
• Willingness to differentiate instruction
• Willingness to oversee/advis extracurricular activities
• Willingness to work with students before or after school to support growth

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction pertinent to the applicable area, and knowledge of cooperative learning strategies, differentiation, and small group instruction.
• Develop formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and implement research-based teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement interdisciplinary project learning.
• Maintain a strong classroom presence and develop day-to-day and unit lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction and master content knowledge for assigned content areas and grade levels.
