Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a High School Reading & Math Certified Interventionist (Math and Reading Tutor) for St. Pius X High School in Houston, TX. Part-time, approximately 7 hours weekly, scheduling Wednesdays only. Compensation is $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, engaging students, and tracking progress. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and TX teaching certification, plus a commitment to helping students succeed within Catapult Learning’s proven curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Valid TX teaching certification is required.
• Candidate must believe all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for records and communication.
• Must have a personal device with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs.
• Engage students and foster ownership, critical thinking, and routines.
• Pursue professional growth through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Track progress with accurate student and academic records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
