American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach County is seeking a High School Math Teacher / Math Competition Coach to join our Delray Beach campus in Florida. The candidate will excel in delivering rigorous mathematics instruction and coaching for math competitions, while fostering a positive learning environment.

Honors and AP experience is preferred. The role involves collaboration with staff, integration of technology, and opportunities for after-school tutoring and program support to help

Qualifications

• Minimum three years teaching in K-12
• Valid Florida State Teaching License or single subject credential; ESOL/ESE preferred
• B.A./B.S. in Education from an accredited institution; or B.F.A. for fine arts instructors

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of content knowledge
• Plan and implement purposeful learning tasks aligned with the curriculum
• Design structured lessons that promote student engagement and critical thinking
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs
• Provide regular feedback and enter grades in LMS/ SIS systems
