Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, self-contained high school Life Skills position in the Lewisville ISD area. Previous self-contained classroom experience is required.

The role involves developing IEPs, delivering specialized instruction, monitoring progress, and collaborating with ARD teams. You will work with a supportive team, offering competitive pay and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Certification: Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred; bilingual skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource rooms.
• Monitor progress with data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Collaborate with general ed teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families; participate in ARD meetings.
