Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District seeks a qualified High School Girls Assistant Soccer Coach at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School for a one-year assignment. The role reports to the Athletic Director and supports district athletic programs with a focus on student development and sportsmanship.

Applicants must meet qualifications, including CPR and Sport First Aid courses, and be approved by the district.

Qualifications

• Successful coaching experience preferred.
• CPR, AFEP Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid Courses or equivalent. (May take within the first year as a coach)
• At least 20 years of age.
• Must be approved by the Oxford Hills School District.
• Must sign a statement stating that he/she has read and understands and agrees to comply with all MPA By-Laws, policies and Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Coaches individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.
• Plans and schedules a regular program of practice in season.
• Works closely with the Athletic Director in scheduling intramural and/or interscholastic contests.
• Oversees safety conditions of the facility where the sport is conducted at all times.
