Job summary

Rogers High School in Newport, Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the Key Club Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. This one-year assignment carries a stipend of $1,000 and reports directly to the Principal.

The position starts immediately and requires coordinating club meetings and school calendar-aligned activities. The ideal candidate has prior advisory experience, can work around the school schedule, and will preferably be presently employed at Rogers High School.

Qualifications

• Must have a schedule that fits with the high school advisory program.
• Previous advisory experience is preferred.
• Current employment at Rogers High School is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises Key Club meetings and activities on school grounds.
• Selects appropriate materials and activities and reviews with the Principal for authorization.
• Organizes and schedules activities to align with the school calendar.
• Maintains financial accounting records and reports status to the Principal.
• Ensures that students are transported according to school policy.
• Performs any other duties as stipulated by the Principal.
