Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidate must supervise JV coaching duties.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Coordinate all activities of the JV team, including practice schedules and equipment management.
• Monitor athletes' academic progress throughout the school year.
• Arrange transportation to away games and supervise athletes after practices or games.
• Scouting of opponents when possible.
• Treat all injuries in the trainer's absence.
• Perform other duties assigned by head coach.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the supervision of their respective coaching duties.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Coordinate all activities of the JV team, including practice schedules, issuing, taking care of and collecting equipment, arranging for transportation to away games, monitoring their team members' academic progress during the entire school year, securing personnel such as managers and game scorers, supervising athletes after a practice or game until all athletes are off school grounds, etc.
• Scouting of opponents when possible.
• Treat all injuries in the absence of the trainer.
• All other position specific duties assigned by the head coach.
