Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for coaching.
• ASEP certification is required for coaching eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability are required.
• Criminal Justice fingerprinting clearance is required.
• Current First Aid card and Bloodborne Pathogen Training are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in coordinating all practices.
• Analyze, demonstrate and explain basic skills and strategies to players and parents when appropriate.
• Enforce program policies and suggest policy changes to administrators.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff within the program.
• Model sportsmanship and enforce rules and district policies.
• Promote fundraising and grant opportunities for the program as needed.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; ensure site safety and efficiency.
• Keep accurate staff and student records and attendance.
• Maintain student behavior standards to provide an orderly environment.
• Contribute to district-wide committees as needed.
