This position emphasizes collaboration with families and educators, planning differentiated instruction, writing IEPs, and monitoring progress while using school-approved curricula and technology to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college.
• Current Ohio Special Education Intervention Specialist License.
• Experience with writing IEPs, progress monitoring, progress reporting & data collection.
• Experience with participating in ETR meetings and writing ETR part 1.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Utilize school approved curricula that reflects the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students.
• Communicate and meet with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning techniques as needed.
