• Dual licensure in content area or ESL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate lessons aligned with State Standards.
• Provide accommodations for students with IEPs in inclusion settings.
• Collaborate with Special Education Department and staff to improve student outcomes.
• Implement SEI strategies to support English Learners on IEPs.
• Maintain IEP documentation, reporting and progress tracking.
• Communicate with families using culturally responsive practices.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education

Massachusetts Teaching Licensure – 5-12 Moderate Disabilities

SEI Endorsement

Master’s Degree in Education and/or Special Education

3 or more years of high school teaching experience

Dual Licensure in Content Area and/or English as a Second Language
