Job summary

Responsibilities

Assess student capabilities to tailor instruction and support learning goals.
Design and implement IEP-based programs using pull-out or inclusion models.
Conduct evaluations, prepare reports, and contribute to TEAM/IEP meetings.
Complete IEP paperwork, timelines, and progress reports.
Advise teachers on diagnostic and remedial strategies and modify curricula as needed.
Oversee instructional assistants and schedule supports for students.
Train support staff and collaborate with general education and related services.
Maintain records to facilitate information flow among staff and families.
Communicate with parents about student progress and involvement in goals.
Engage in professional development planning with building leadership.
Attend scheduled meetings and ensure compliance with state regulations.
