Parkhurst Academy in Florida seeks a High School History Teacher to lead core social studies courses for grades 9–12, with possible middle school sections. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in history or related field, strong U.S. and world history knowledge, and the ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.

• Bachelor's degree in history, social studies education, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of U.S. and world history content.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.

Responsabilités

• Plan and teach American History and World History aligned to Florida's state social studies standards at standard and honors levels.
• Integrate a biblical worldview, examining events, ideas, and leaders through the lens of Scripture.
• Use primary sources, document-based questions, debate, and research writing to build historical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction for a range of learners, including students who need added support or acceleration.
