Applitrack is seeking a substitute Extended Day to Day Health Occupations Teacher for Delaware Valley High School. The role covers core medical knowledge, clinical techniques and professional skills, following a defined course scope, with hands-on demonstrations and simulations to enhance student understanding.

Applicants must hold PA teaching certification in Health Professions or be a licensed RN in PA, or a licensed healthcare professional with a bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of four

Qualifications

• Must hold PA Career and Technical Instructional I or II certificate in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences.
• Either graduate of an approved nursing program and PA RN license, or a licensed/certified healthcare professional with Bachelor's degree and licensure in field, or LPN with Health Assisting Competency.
• Must have 4 years of wage-earning experience in the occupation.

Responsibilities

• Teach core medical knowledge, hands-on clinical techniques, and professional workplace skills.
• Follow the scope and sequence for courses and use real-life applications and simulations to teach material.
• Instruct using tools, materials, processes and technology; include software applications in lessons.
• Use formal and informal assessments to measure student learning.
• Position anticipated to run around Oct 12, 2026 to Nov 19, 2026.
