Job summary

The Capital School District seeks a 2026-2027 Middle School Career & Technical Education Teacher – Health Sciences to plan and deliver exploring health sciences curricula, connect to Delaware CTE standards, and provide hands-on learning experiences in health careers.

The teacher will support MTSS, literacy integration, and program development, collaborate with counselors and teachers, and meet Delaware licensure requirements as outlined in the job posting.

Qualifications

• Meet state licensure requirements for Delaware Health Sciences/CTE.
• Experience implementing literacy across CTE and health sciences.
• Knowledge of MTSS and collaborative planning with staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for Health Sciences I/II.
• Integrate CTE curriculum and explore health careers with hands-on activities.
• Support MTSS, literacy, and career readiness within the classroom.
• Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and industry partners on pathways.
• Maintain safe, organized, and rigorous learning environments.
