Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a CTE Health Assisting Teacher in Newton, Massachusetts. The teacher will develop a new Health Assisting Program and ensure high school students acquire the skills needed for the workplace.

This full-time position requires effective curriculum planning and close collaboration with the CTE Director, with direct instruction starting in January 2027. Candidates must hold a related Bachelor’s degree and a health-related teaching license.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Chapter 74 Health Assisting teaching license.
• Three years of relevant employment experience required.
• Possess a current Massachusetts license as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop the Health Assisting Program.
• Deliver curriculum objectives per MA CTE Health Assisting Frameworks.
• Ensure students gain necessary workplace skills.
