Responsibilities

• Teach Health Assisting to high school students.
• Develop interdisciplinary health career curricula.
• Deliver content through instruction, demonstrations, and projects.
• Provide hands-on training in clinical skills, including taking vital signs.
• Supervise laboratory activities, ensuring safety and proper equipment use.
• Coordinate clinical experiences in hospitals, clinics, and medical offices.
• Assess student performance via quizzes, exams, projects, and clinical evaluations.
• Offer academic and career guidance, including resume help and cert exam prep.
• Engage in professional development and participate in wellness council activities.
• Collaborate with staff to place students in authentic clinical experiences.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and clinical hours; report to administration.
